Oceanside CA— ‘Raising Our Voices…Community in the Arts’, the final 2018 Oceanside Music Fest music event will be held Monday, October 22, 7:00-8:30 in the Civic Center Community Rooms, 330 North Coast Highway, downtown Oceanside.
This evening of music set in a ‘Prairie Home Companion’ style will feature songs from Broadway, as well as folk, international, and patriotic. Showcasing local musicians and poets celebrating community, diversity, and civic commitment, the evening will include the award-winning Oceanside High School Concert Choir as well as performing artists including Tiffany Vakilian, Ellie Anna Theofilopoulos, the a cappella quartet, Gin’N Tonix, Stephani Stevens, as well as other local favorites, and a special flag presentation by Oceanside Boy Scouts in period uniforms.
OMFest is presented by Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation, a 501 c3 non profit organization who’s mission is to promote, support and celebrate the arts in our community. “Raising Our Voices…” is a fundraiser for arts scholarships for local graduating Seniors.
