San Diego CA— St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC) held its 42nd Haute with Heart Fashion Show & Luncheon: Dreaming of Style on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The event hosted nearly 600 guests and raised more than $100,000 to fund SMSC programs that serve adults with developmental disabilities in San Diego.
The event showcased the latest trends with a theatrical fashion show on the runway, produced by Fashion Forward®, which featured professional models and SMSC students. Event guests also enjoyed boutique shopping, live and silent auctions, opportunity drawings and a heartwarming fashion show featuring SMSC students and their families dressed in looks from Macy’s Fashion Valley.
St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 400 adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities through nationally recognized, innovative programs. Its mission is to educate and empower individuals with developmental disabilities to realize their full potential. Developmental disabilities include autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other cognitive disorders for which there are no cures.
