New Art Class Adds “Spark” Every Third Saturday of the Month

Get Creative with “Art Spark” Art Classes

Escondido CA—The California Center for the Arts, Escondido’s Education Department will debut a new art lesson called Art Spark which happens every third Saturday of the month starting Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 10am-12pm.

This first Art Spark class introduces participants to the principles of painting in watercolor.

Learn techniques to help you achieve the proper effect by practicing wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry applications, as well as, layering, lifting and scrubbing.

Refine your artistry through a class designed to advance technique and elevate your understanding of the elements of art.

Participants will explore various applications of mixed media.

Guided by our Center Teaching, Artist Nancy Robinson, each class provides formal training to help participants cultivate, broaden and deepen their artistic repertoire.

Seating is limited. Tickets are $40 per person and purchasing them in advance is highly recommended.

Tickets include: all art materials, pastries and non-alcoholic beverages, a free museum pass and a raffle ticket for an opportunity to win a pair of tickets to a 2019-2020 presented season show.
