E-Commerce Day Debuts in San Diego- October 17

Conference provides insight for new or early stage e-commerce merchants to learn more and earn more

San Diego CA—  E-Commerce Day – an educational and inspirational one-day event for entrepreneurs interested in launching, buying or growing an e-commerce business — announces its inaugural event in San Diego on Thursday, October 17.

Beginning at 8 a.m., experienced and early stage e-commerce merchants will unite at Carmel Valley’s Del Mar Marriott for a full day of education and networking. Highlights include nationally recognized keynote speakers – Shopify’s Director of Merchant Education, Samantha Murray, Founder of BestSelf.co winner of Shopify’s “Build A Business” contest, Allen Brouwer and more— one-on-one workshops, national sponsors and massive e-commerce funding opportunities. The event includes a local element with its “How We Did It” series which features San Diego-based e-commerce businesses, Sand Cloud and Headhunter Surf.

“This is a must-attend event for anyone in San Diego working towards a dream of building a seven-figure business or simply interested in a side gig,” said Founder of ECOMMevents, Phil Gorman. “What’s most important is that attendees are hungry to learn. We’ve pulled some of the industry’s top key players who will provide actionable advice worth much more to their business than the price of admission.”

Gorman plans to continue to grow this event nationwide and already has dates for E-Commerce Days in Orange County and Los Angeles. He adds, “wider potential audiences, low startup costs and improved software have made it easy for anyone to start an e-commerce business today, but learning how to attract and sell to new customers and understand the technical ins and outs of operating such a business are just two of the many hard parts. I look forward to providing entrepreneurs with the tools needed to be successful nationwide.”

Tickets for E-Commerce Day are $399 per person ($499 at the door) and includes lunch, parking and a full day of workshops, keynote speakers and access to some of the savviest and experienced e-commerce merchants in a single day. Registration is strongly recommended as spots are limited. Tickets are available here.
