Carlsbad CA—Toast to 2020 with the entire family at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa’s Mad Hatter-themed New Year’s Eve Ball on December 31. The family-friendly celebration will feature a mouthwatering buffet, a DJ and dancing, a costume contest, games, a kids club and 21+ area, and a midnight toast.
Dine before you dance and choose from an assortment of tasty options like Cast-Iron Baked Brie with roasted strawberries and rosemary, Lobster Mac, and a carving station featuring Garlic Herb Crusted Ribeye with Chimichurri. A kid-friendly buffet will also be available for children ages 12 and under.
There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids busy until midnight including face painting, a coloring room, crafts, pool tables and board games, an arcade room, a “Kid’s Club” room with a dancefloor and midnight balloon drop, and a movie/quiet room if it becomes too difficult to stay awake. Adults 21 and up are invited to hang out in “The Rabbit Hole,” a speakeasy-style room for adults only.
Guests are encouraged to dress in Alice and Wonderland attire and prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Couple and Best Dressed Family. Ring in the New Year with a complimentary sparkling wine toast for guests 21 and up and a non-alcoholic toast and for those under 21.
