Fallbrook CA— This afternoon, December 27, 2019, at about 1:33 pm, Fallbrook deputies responded to a call of a bank robbery that occurred at the Chase Bank located 1091 S Mission Rd, Fallbrook CA.
Deputies learned the suspect had fled the scene ten minutes earlier in a southwest direction. No employees were injured.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5’10”, thin build, 55-65 years old, wearing a dark curly wig, slacks, dress shirt and tie. He was seen getting into a dark colored sedan before fleeing.
Deputies located the suspect vehicle in the 700 block of Alturas Rd about 30 minutes after the robbery. The suspect was not located.
Preliminary information indicated the suspect entered the bank and approached the teller’s window with a demand note in hand. The teller complied with the demand. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. No weapons were seen.
