Burn Boot Camp-Oceanside Grand Opening and Open House- February 29

Oceanside CA— Burn Boot Camp- Oceanside, 125 Old Grove Road, Suite 1 in the Old Grove Marketplace Shopping Center (Lowe’s), will be holding their Grand Opening/Open House Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Friends since high school, two of the owners and the faces of Burn Boot Camp-Oceanside, Allison Bradley and Lead Trainer, Erica Ames loved the fitness concept from the start. They became members where they were living in Charlotte, NC and Burn Boot Camp is headquartered. “Erica introduced me to Burn. We started the 14-day free trial and we were hooked on it from day one, signed a contract on day two,” said Allison. “We were working out at one of the chain fitness centers but we weren’t motivated. We were just following an online guide of what we were supposed to be doing but not really doing it. A friend told me about the workout she was doing at Burn and I thought we aren’t doing anything like that. That’s what we should be doing,” said Erica. “When we joined Burn, we just felt like we were part of something special right away.”

Allison and Erica enjoyed Burn Boot Camp so much that when Allison’s husband, Seth, took a job in San Diego, they didn’t want to leave the Burn Boot Camp experience behind. Two years ago they signed the franchise papers, Erica got certified as a trainer and the search was on for the perfect location which they found in Oceanside.

The Burn Boot Camp workout is designed to maximize your results in less than an hour with an average burn of 700 calories per camp. “From start to finish, the work out is 45 minutes,” explained Erica, “We begin with a warm-up to get everything going. Then, it’s the main workout which changes every day so you never do the same workout twice. There are strength focus days and cardio focus days so it evens out during the week. That way, you aren’t over training any specific muscle group. At the end of the workout is the finisher which is an all-out effort that goes for 2-5 minutes followed by a cool down and stretch.”

Kettlebells, medicine balls, dumbbells, battle ropes, and the pull-up rig are just a few of the tools in the Burn Boot Camp- Oceanside fitness arsenal for a balanced workout regimen. Activities are done on a gymnastics style foam floor for low impact on your joints.

To take some of the stress out of being able to get your workout in, Burn offers free child care. “People can come in, get their 45 minutes of “me” time and not have to worry about their kids,” said Allison . The Burn concept is focused more on women but does offer coed classes in the evening.

While building ties in the Oceanside area, Allison said the ownership group has big plans as they look to open more locations and grow the Burn Boot Camp community in the region.

“Burn is such an amazing community of women and empowered people that has changed so many lives,” said Erica. There is a wall lined with photos and transformation stories attesting to how Burn has changed lives along with a quote “You must start to become unstoppable.”
