San Diego CA—Edible San Diego Magazine has announced the launch of EdibleSD@Home, a series of interactive virtual cooking classes led by local chefs.
Attendees will learn cooking hacks from the pros, preparing recipes alongside San Diego chefs with hands-on lessons. During the hour-long video class, participants will make one entree and one side dish, interacting directly with celebrated local chefs.
Michelle Stansbury, the producer of the EdibleSD@Home series, shares, “We wanted to bridge the gap between restaurant quality meals and at-home cooking. These virtual cooking classes will bring San Diego’s favorite chefs into your home, along with their cooking hacks, recipes, and advice.”
The first installment in the EdibleSD@Home cooking series is Autumn Cooking with Chef Kevin Templeton on Tuesday, September 29th at 6pm. Chef Kevin is the executive chef of the Verant Group including barleymash, the Smoking Gun, and Spill the Beans. When Kevin isn’t in the kitchen, you can find him delivering 700 pounds of compost each week to Olivewood Gardens or teaching the benefits of composting.
The second cooking class will be Tuesday, October 6th at 6pm featuring Chef Brad Wise from Trust Restaurant Group. The third cooking class will be Tuesday, November 17th at 6pm featuring Chef Davin Waite of All Things Waite, including Wrench and Rodent Seabasstropub, The Whet Noodle, and The Plot.
