La Jolla CA—La Jolla Symphony & Chorus invites you to join the 13th annual Gala – “California Dreamin’” – on October 17, 6 to 8 PM, to look at the sunny side of life on this special evening to launch the 2021-22 Season.Our premier, annual fundraiser will be a virtual evening of entertainment and fine dining that directly benefits the artistic mission of the LJS&C and our young artist performance and composition programs. This “Stay-la” event runs from 6 to 8 pm. We will bring the evening’s festivities to you this year, with an entertaining silent and live auction, an opportunity to support a special program with our fund-a-need, and selected performances by Cecil Lytle, Stephanie Weaver and the LJSC Chorus. We will also feature some surprise guest appearances and will present our annual ‘Arts Angel’ award. As our guests enjoy the entertainment and auction, they will be treated to fine dining, delivered safely to their home. An elegant three-course meal, specially curated by San Diego’s own Chef Deborah Scott, will be created especially for the La Jolla Symphony & Chorus patrons. Guests will also have their choice of three different wine selections.

The La Jolla Symphony & Chorus, San Diego’s oldest and largest community orchestra and chorus, is a non-profit musical performing group dedicated to inspiring San Diego with the joy of music.
