San Diego CA— Beginning October 1, the San Diego Watercolor Society is hosting its 40th International Exhibition virtually.
Located in ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station, the International Exhibition has been the highlight of the year for SDWS for four decades. The show attracts entries from hundreds of water based media artists worldwide with accepted artists eligible for awards.
Established in 1965, the San Diego Watercolor Society is one of the largest and most active in the United States. Its International Exhibition is widely recognized for its high standard of excellence in water-based media art.
The 40th International Exhibition was juried by award-winning artist, Michael Reardon. He has been painting in watercolor for over thirty years and his watercolors have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including the annual shows of the National Watercolor Society, the American Watercolor Society, and the California Art Club.
