Carlsbad CA— CTEH has welcomed Jessica Chopyk, PhD, a toxicologist, to its internationally-renowned team of scientific experts.
A published researcher, Chopyk previously worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California San Diego. Most recently, she helped identify potential sources of COVID-19 contamination on surfaces within a clinical sample processing center. She holds a doctoral degree in toxicology and environmental health from the University of Maryland, College Park as well as a master’s degree in plant and soil sciences and bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from the University of Delaware.
