Oceanside CA— Monday afternoon, November 9, 2020, at approximately 4:11, units from the Oceanside Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Broadway in South Oceanside. At 4:15pm, Oceanside Engine 212 corrected the dispatched address to 308 Kelly Street and confirmed that a one-story single-family residence was fully engulfed in flame.
Following an initial report on conditions, E212 pulled attack lines for primary search and fire control of the residence. Early supporting units were assigned to protect adjacent structures threatened by the fire.
With assistance from additional units, the fire was considered under control approximately forty minutes after initial units arrived on scene.
Damage was contained to the building of origin with minimal damage to adjacent structures.
No residents or firefighters were injured during this incident.
The cause and origin of the fire is currently under investigation by an Oceanside Fire Department Duty Investigator.
Carlsbad and Vista Fire Departments provided mutual aid for the incident.
