Our City Planner’s and our City Councils’ continuing actions?

The O’side City Council will address this matter within The Housing and Community Development Action Plan IN PRIVATE SESSION (!) on Wednesday night, March 24, 2021. Public participation may be held at 6: 00 PM on KOCT public television channel 99 if applicable. YOU may even sign up to participate!
WHAT WILL THEY DECIDE? Is the will of We The People being ignored by our City Government?
The Planning Commission reviewed the South Morro Hills community plan Tuesday, March 23 at 6PM. In spite of nearly 73% of the Oceanside community VOTING NO to REZONE agricultural land, it appears that through General Plan update revisions this is discretely happening anyway!?

I OBJECT to this SMH Community Plan for 3 reasons:
1) It calls for reducing the current zoning from 2.5 acre minimum to 1 acre minimum…that will lead to more housing without proper infrastructure (sewer & water that WE TAXPAYERS will have to pay for to remedy). Say NO to 1 acre parcels!
2) It states building “cluster housing” that has not been defined in size or quantity and again, erodes the agricultural zoning – you know what happens when housing comes in next to farming – one has to go and its usually farms. Say NO to “Cluster Housing”.
3) The stated “go forward plan” is to build housing in infill already zoned residential and along the Corridors of Vista Way, Oside Blvd, and Mission and preserve agricultural resources!
