San Diego CA— San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department will be hosting its 2021 Honor Theatre Project presentation of “Let’s Talk,” a student-devised, digital one act, on Friday, April 9th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event will be free to attend, and will be screened outdoors, in the parking lot of the Clairemont Lutheran Church (4271 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92117).
“Let’s Talk” addresses some of today’s most prevalent social justice topics through the eyes of teens. Honor Theatre students have written, designed, edited, and performed this piece, investigating issues that they, the next generation, want to explore with their peers as well as the adults in their lives.
The students represent nine different high schools (Hoover, La Jolla, Mira Mesa, Morse, Patrick Henry, Point Loma, SDSCPA, Scripps Ranch, and UC High School) from across San Diego. The work has all been done remotely, from their individual homes.
