Carlsbad Republican Women Welcome College Republican Austin Katz – April 24th

Carlsbad CA— On Saturday, April 24th, the Carlsbad Republican Women welcome Austin Katz as our key note speaker. Austin Katz is a Senior at the University of California-San Diego and is currently the President of the College Republicans at UCSD and the Activism Director for the California Federation of College Republicans. Austin will give us an update on “What’s New with College Republicans in California.” As an accomplished speaker at such a young age, this is a unique opportunity to learn about Republican activism on our college campuses today!

Austin has experience in local and national government including interning at the White House, Office of Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), and the Office of Former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer (R-CA). Austin, a lifelong San Diegan, has also volunteered on local campaigns and worked for the Republican Party of San Diego County. Austin firmly believes in the promise of America and is committed to upholding conservative principles.

The Carlsbad Republican Women Club focuses on campaigns and elections, getting out the vote, political issues and efforts, registering new Republicans, educating our members and the public, and serving the military and other worthy organizations in our area.

CRWF’s April 24th brunch will be held at the Holiday Inn, 2725 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad. Cost is $32 per guest paid in advance by credit card. Please RSVP at www.CarlsbadRepublicans.com.  Doors open at 9:45 a.m. and the program begins at 10:00 a.m., concluding by 12 noon.
