Vista CA— CBRE announced the sale of a 51,807 square-foot office property situated on 7.8 acres to Classical Academy for $10.1 million in the San Diego area.
Matt Pourcho, Matt Harris, Anthony DeLorenzo, and Gary Stache with CBRE’s Investment Properties Group, along with CBRE’s Caitlin Little, represented the seller, National University, in the transaction.
Classical Academy, who was represented by Jon Walters and Jim Bensen from Kidder Matthews, will use the space for a new school location.
The three-story property on 7.8 acres, located at 2022 University Drive in Vista, sits adjacent to the 78 Freeway, which is the North County’s connecting corridor, and in proximity to a large number of grocery stores, eating and drinking establishments, banks, hotels and fitness centers.
“This is an ideal location for a school given the adjacency to vast amounts of amenities, housing and ease of access to the rest of the region,” said Pourcho.
Employment in Vista has increased by more than 12.4 percent since May 2020, surpassing the state and county. More than 31 percent of Vista’s population is between the ages of 18 and 34 years, making it one of the most concentrated areas in North San Diego County.
