Oceanside Vaccination “Pop-up” to Help Vaccinate those Facing Socioeconomic Barriers

Oceanside CA— Tri-City Medical Center and the City of Oceanside are partnering, along with the County of San Diego, for a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic, July 8, 2021, at the Crown Heights Community Resource Center located adjacent to Oceanside High School.  The clinic intended to help the disenfranchised access COVID-19 vaccines, as lower vaccination rates have been achieved amongst people with lower incomes and people or color

  • What: Partnering to provide a mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic
  • When: Thursday, July 8 from 2-8pm
  • Where: Crown Heights Community Resource Center 1210 Division St. Oceanside, CA 92054

This effort is done in conjunction with the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) Week of Action or WOA to improve vaccination rates in areas that have been identified as having low rates.

Subsequent events sponsored by Tri-City Medical Center are being planned in the cities of Vista and Carlsbad as well.

Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which requires a single shot, will be used at these events. Attendees can also partake in free music and pizza.
